The primary author of materials found on this website is Richard Hiatt. He has nearly four decades of experience working with rural power suppliers and energy educators. Richard works jointly with electric cooperatives and others to educate customers on electricity’s value and efficient use.

At Electric Learning we have a passion for sharing practical knowledge on energy efficiency measures, electric motor fundamentals, and ways to manage energy within residential, farm, and commercial applications. We have access to a team of experts in several states who’ve spent their careers assisting electric utilities large and small. We work together to provide training courses, information sharing and other services to bring solutions to electric cooperatives, companies and their rural customers.
